USF graduates are sought after by employers because they have the academic foundation and practical skills necessary to practice law. Beyond the classroom, a number of USF programs give students the opportunity to put their education in to practice while also servicing the local and global community.
The law school sponsors three student-run journals that provide opportunities for students to improve their writing and analytical skills in their area of interest. The journals are the USF Law Review, USF Maritime Law Journal, and the USF Intellectual Property Law Bulletin.
Through the USF School of Law's Moot Court Program, students gain a sense of the rewards and challenges of practice after law school. Students may take part in advanced moot court competitions, provide guidance to 1Ls as moot court case counsel, and join the USF Inn of Court.
